Kek Lok Si 极乐寺

Its almost Chinese New Year. During this time of the year, one of the most recommended place to visit in Penang is 'Kek Lok Si' also known as the 'Temple of Supreme Bliss' or 'Temple of Sukhavati', where lanterns and ornaments will be hung. People from afar can see the place lit up beautifully at night. It is the largest Buddhist temple in Southeast Asia.

The little pagoda in the pond where people make wishes and throw some coins. According to believes, if the coin falls into the lotus, you wish will be granted and vice versa.
